About Us
Perkins Technical Services, Inc. (PTS), headquartered in Huntsville, Alabama, was founded in 1996 with the vision of providing timely, cost effective, hardware and innovative technical- and program support services to the Government. This small business supports a variety of DOD and NASA programs in Huntsville, AL.
PTS has developed a series of AC and AC/DC Power Supply Docking Stations, SR-3A, SR-4 and SR-4A for the RT-1523 plain thru F series SINCGARS tactical radio and RFPA - AM 7238B/VRC Power Amplifier.
Additionally there are AC Power Supply Docking Stations available for the Harris' 150, 117F, 117G, 152 and Raytheon's PSC-5.
The PTS AC Power Supply Docking Stations provide the capability of using AC power worldwide to operate all SINCGARS, Harris, and Raytheon tactical radios in a continuous and cost effective manner instead of using batteries, other bulky, heavy, unreliable power supplies or dismantling (Dead Lining) vehicles to obtain a mounting a power cable, mounting base, speakers and cables. PTS has prospered due to our mind set of doing the right thing the first time. We believe that because of our commitment to this mind set, to include cost realism in our proposals, we were selected as a Prime contractor on the 5 year AMCOM Express Business and Analytical Domain contract in the Small Business Category in 2005.
PTS has its own GSA IT and PES schedule and is on many of the Huntsville area contract teams including being a PRIME on the AMCOM Express Business and Analytical Domain contract.
